That’s why we want to tell you a little bit about trees. Because let’s be honest. They’re absolutely crucial in order for our planet to stay safe. So, without a further ado, five reasons why we plant them:
1. Trees help clean the air and release tons of valuable oxygen that we all breathe. Remember the global upset triggered by the Amazon forest fires? Well, that’s how important trees are.
2. Trees absorb and collect rainwater with their branches and roots. Rainwater that would have gone elsewhere if not trees were there to function as protection. Without that protection, excess water poses a risk of harmful flooding and landslides.
3. Forests provide millions of jobs around the globe. So, the social impact is huge. The wood is later on used as material in order to build homes and shelters. Not to mention all the billions of people still depending on it for cooking and heating.
4. Trees absorb and store the carbon dioxide that drives global warming. This is an organic way to take care of emissions. Trees are therefore a simple way to clean the air in cities where there’s a lot of human activity.
5. Securing biodiversity. Eight of 10 animal species found on land live in forests. Do we need to say more?
Ink n Art is sprung from a traditional print shop at the well-known address Sunset Boulevard. In the mid-90s, the entire business was moved to Gothenburg and has since 2013 been run by a younger and more up-to-date generation. With the shift of generation an improved mindset, better tools and bigger visions came to set a new standard for Ink n Art. The experiences we have accumulated over almost 30 years of hard work are invaluable. And we did our homework. Simplicity, flexibility and a high level of service are our key ingredients for your satisfaction. It has led us to increase all those parameters with a more modern thinking.
2021 we laced up our speediest sneakers. We launched a new website with a cutting-edge online design tool for packaging, cards and stickers. Featuring a unique 3D-preview of your custom design. A solution where we put you, the user, in the front seat. Our slogan “You think it, we ink it” has in a sense never been more true. On top of improving our website we have made some substantial changes to our in-house production. In 2020 we got our hands on a new, 15 meter long, fully automated folded carton gluing machine and a finishing die-cutter machine. Both developed to work short runs, order changes can be implemented in record time. The following year, 2021, we can happily announce ourselves proud owners of a HP Indigo. One of the best digital presses on the market. Goosebumps.
